Pumpkin Spiced Creamer (dairy-free​)

Did you know that you can make your own plant based pumpkin spiced creamer – with real pumpkin alias squash? This is a quick, delicious and nutritious autumn treat!

If you used cashew milk you will get a very rich creamer. If you prefer a lighter creamer you want to use almond milk instead (or a combination of both).
If you want to go the extra mile, go ahead and make your own cashew milk. Just soak 1 cup of cashews over night – discard the soaking water and blend with 3-4 cups of water. If you have a high-speed blender you don’t even need to strain the milk.

Nuts are generally quite expensive but you will be surprised at how affordable all ingredients become when you start making things from scratch.
